Sacrament of Reconciliation - Saturday 5:30 - 5:45 pm and by appointment.

 

Stations of the Cross - Stations of the Cross will be at 6:00 pm on Fridays during Lent.  Also the church will be open at 12:00 noon on Fridays for those wanting to say individual stations or other meditations during Lent.

 

Rosary - During Lent, the Rosary will be said before Saturday night mass, beginning at 5:40 pm, March 8.  It shall be offered up for world peace.  If you would be willing to help in leading the Rosary, please contact Gerry Morris at 226-8386.

Welcome Mass for Bishop Joseph Latino - Newly installed Bishop Joseph Latino will visit our Deanery on Tuesday,  March 18, at 6:00 pm in Greenville at St. Joseph.  Father Brock will be celebrating mass with him and all parishioners of St. Peter’s are invited to attend.  If you would like to attend or are planning to attend, contact Fr. Brock and maybe a caravan come here to Greenville can be arranged.

 

CCD - Due to Spring Break, there will be NO Sunday School on March 9th and March 16th.  Classes will resume on Sunday, March 23rd.

 

Easter Flowers - Envelopes are in the vestibule for anyone wishing to make an offering for Easter Flowers. 

 

Rite of Acceptance - As part of the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, ten candidates have completed the Rite of Acceptance.  The Rite of Acceptance marks the beginning of the catechumenate as a candidate expresses and the church accepts their intention to respond to God’s call to follow the way of Christ.  These candidate will be confirmed as part of the Easter celebration.  Please keep them in your prayers.  They are: Lane Bennett, Frankie Fortier, David Livingston, Denise Moody, Bob Smith, Jeff Shankle, Tim Thomas, Tabitha Thomas, Craig Thomas, Cristy Thomas and Dalton Thomas.

Prayer - Please pray for our World Leaders to make the correct decision as to whether or not we go to war.  Particularly, pray for the young men and women that must carry out these orders.  A list will be placed on the bulletin board for you to list family and friends that serve in the armed forces.  In case we go to war, that list will be placed on the altar for special prayers.
