Rite Of Christian Initiation Of AdultsThe RICA continues this week after the 6:00pm evening Mass, and again we want to extend a very special invitation to anybody who might be interested in our Catholic Faith. It’s not too late to start!

Daily Mass We as Catholics must be aware of the great gift we have in our Holy Eucharist, which is our primary source of spiritual food and strength. Please consider, if you do not already do so, making a genuine effort to come to one (1) daily Mass during the week, to pray for the sick and suffering, those who feel neglected and unloved, family problems, if you should have some and happiness in the home.

Why Catholic?”… is a concrete approach to help              Topics:

adults deepen their Catholic faith and connect its teach-            *Beatitudes—how we can follow them in our lives

ing to their every day lives. This year we will continue              *Freedom--Responsibility of our Human Acts

in small faith groups with the book, Life in Christ:             *Conscience—a “Catholic Conscience

explain the moral teachings of the Church.                                *Moral Law, Grace and the Church

Why Catholic?” It’s not too late to join a group, just call myself –226-2490, or Gerry Morris at 417-1160.

Choose Life As we mark another Respect Life Sunday, we are perhaps tempted to ask with Habakkuk, “How long, O Lord, I cry for help but you do not listen? I cry out to you, ‘Violence!’ but you do not intervene.” The Lord’s response, “Write down the vision clearly upon the tablets…For the vision still has its time, presses on to fulfillment, and will not disappoint.” Respect for all human life is that vision which “will surely come.”
