Why Catholic?”… We hope that all or our groups have begun or are about to begin this very important session on the treatment of the Sacraments of our Church. With a little effort on our part this can be a very enriching experience.

World       Congratulations to Ed and Rosemary Merriman who will be celebrating 65 years

Marriage      of marriage with the Bishop and several others this Sunday at St. Peter in Jackson.

Day           We pray God’s special Blessing on them on this very special occasion.

Choose Life One long ago day at a Washington, D.C. Prayer Breakfast, a tiny nun proclaimed these words to those in high positions of power: “if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?” On that day, Mother Teresa of Calcutta captured the essence of love---respect for all human life.
