Welcome and Thanks to the priests who are traveling for distances to help us with our Penance Service, and they are Fr. Mario Solorzano, New Albany, Fr. Al Camp, Jackson, Fr. Gerald Hurley, Brandon, Fr. Sam Messina, Batesville, and Yours Truly, Grenada.  

 

Congratulationsto Don Tartt and Reid Walker who won 1st Place at the District Science Fair in Batesville recently.

 

Holy Week  Help, we need four workers and three sheet cakes for the Presbyterian Church. This is to help for the Holy Week Services. St. Peter is responsible for Monday March 29. Services are at noon contact Gerry Morris at 417-1160.   

 

RememberWe again would like to remind all of our people that we will have special services on Friday evening at 6:15pm, consisting of The Way of the Cross, Scripture reading, mediation, and Holy Communion, followed by a light supper in the Family Life Center. 

 

Why Catholic?”… We hope that our groups are meeting faithfully and that our leaders are reminding them. Even if you haven’t participated thus far, the remaining sessions would be very valuable. We are still hoping that all groups will finish before Holy Week.   

 

Pleaselet us all make a genuine effort to make Lent a special time in Our Church.

R.C.I.AThe RCIA will meet this Tuesday evening, March 16th right after the 6:00pm service. Topics: Continuation of the discussion on the Sacraments.

 

Choose Life During Lent, it is good to think about Jesus’ words, “Amen I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.” If we do nothing to work for the protection of these least ones, we do nothing for Jesus.  (COLFS Newsletter, San Diego, 11/07)
