Graduation
We will have
a special breakfast this morning, May 16th after the 9:00 Mass in honor our
high school graduates and they are; Joseph Messina, Ryan Taylor, Jeff
Wagner, Kate Logan, Crispina Purvis, McKenzie Ray. If we
have omitted anybody we are sorry and please give us a call.
Blood Drive
The goodness
and generosity of people who can and are willing to give blood has helped to save many
lives, your priest included. We will have a Blood Drive here at St. Peters on
Sunday, May 23rd immediately following the 9:00 Mass. We are hoping that 30 of
our people, at least, will be willing to give blood so that our Church Family will qualify
for the gift of blood for one year. Please sign up on the list in the
vestibule, when you enter into the Church. We are hoping that many of our people will
respond favorably to this great opportunity of reaching out and helping others. [Last
Sundays Gospel], By this will all know that you are my followers if you love one another.
Catholic
I would like to join Bishop Latino, to thank
everybody from our St. Peter Church Family, for
Service

and pledges toward The Catholic Sharing Appeal. If you have not made an offering
Appeal
or pledge,
be assured that it is not too late to do so.
May
.. We are so
grateful at the very good participation at daily Mass recently. We continue to
Mass
.. encourage our people to avail of
this great gift and to make every effort during this month
& Mary
of May to show our love and respect for our
Blessed Mother.
Quotes
.
1. We want to give our children what we didnt
have; but lets make sure we give them what we did have; our faith. (Anonymous)
2. Optimism is the faith
that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence. (Helen
Keller, 1880-1968, American writer)
3. The world is divided into people who do things,
and people who get credit. Try, if you can, to belong to the first class, there is far
less competition. (Dwight
Morrow, 1873-1931, businessman, Politician and Diplomat)
Choose Life
Mothers are closer to God the
Creator than any other creature. God joins
forces with mothers in performing this act of creating a human being. The angels have not been blessed with such a
grace. Only a human mother is. (Joseph Cardinal Mindszenty)
