Blood Drive
The
goodness and generosity of people who can and are willing to give blood has helped to save
many lives, your priest included. We are having a Blood
Drive here at St. Peters this Sunday, May 23rd immediately following the

As we give blood this morning, lets try to be patient and as corporative as
possible.

Quotes
.
1. When I thought I couldnt go on, I
forced myself to keep going. My success is based on persistence, not luck. (Estee
Lauder, Entrepreneur)
2.
Man often becomes what he believes himself to be, if I keep on saying to myself that
I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end, by really becoming incapable
of doing it, on the contrary, if I shall have the belief that I can do it. I shall surely
acquire the capacity to do it, even if I may not have it at the beginning. (Mahatma
Gandhi, 1869-1948, Indian Nationalist Leader)
3.
Unswerving loyalty to duty, constant devotion to truth, and a clear conscience will
overcome every discouragement and surely lead the way to usefulness and high achievement. (Grover
Cleveland)
Choose Life
As this nation continues
to tolerate the dehumanizing evil of abortion, what will history think of this era? Many
history experts agree that abortion clinics will be noted in history with the same
significance as Nazi concentration camps. A prediction worthy of reflection.
Sick/Homebound/Hospitalized
If
you have anyone ill, homebound, or hospitalized please
contact the rectory so they can be added to our prayer list and Father Ruane can
visit and pray for them.
