Daily Mass
We will have a two day mini Bible
School gathering for our children grades 1st through 7th. Times
dates and details later.
Daily
Now that
school is out and there is a little more leisure time, there is no better up bringing for
Mass
our children
then to take them to Mass from time to time and explain its benefits.
Hot & Cold
Some people
like it hot in church or at home, some people like it cool or cold. So lets all try to be
reasonable and make it as comfortable as possible for everybody. We will set the
thermostat at 70 degrees.
Moving In And Out
Summer time
is often a time of transitions for families. We want to say farewell to any people who may
be leaving and thank you for your participation in our parish. We also wish to welcome any
new individuals or families at St. Peter Parish and we invite you to make yourself known
to us and to register with the parish. Parish registration forms are available in the
vestibule, or call the Parish Office at 662-226-2490.
IF
Please if
you cannot serve at a given Mass as Lector or Eucharist Minister, please call a replacement or call the
Rectory. These are
special ministries and a replacement should be found if you can not serve.
PLEASE REMEMBER TURN YOUR
CELLPHONE OFF WHILE IN CHURCH!
Thank you for you cooperation.

better. (Barbara
Pletcher, Author)
2. Nothing is more endangered in the
modern world than the powerful combination of hard work toward meaningful
goals joined with an exuberant embrace of the present moment. (Tom Morris)
3. Always do your best. What you plant
now, you will harvest later. (Og Mandino,
1923-1996, American motivational author, speaker)

dont know any other way to lead but by example. (Don Shula, 1930-, American football coach)
Choose Life
A veteran researcher into
post-abortion trauma, David Reardon, writes that some abortionists readily admit feelings
of guilt. I do feel youre an abnormal person if you could really honestly say
that abortion didnt bother you at all, said one abortionist he interviewed.
It goes against all things which are natural. Its a termination of life,
however you look at it. (LifeDate, Lutherans for Life newsletter,
Spring, 1998)
