Labor Day
It sounds like
a contradiction, but on Labor Day everybody usually rest from their labors. We encourage
parishioners to participate in Mass, and to make it a little easier for those who would
like to rest a little bit, even those who have no jet lag Mass on Monday morning
will be at 9:00am.
Es Special
We will have a special
breakfast next Sunday after our 9:00am Mass to show our support and
Breakfast
our love for our young
people in bible school. This is also our year to have confirmation. We would like as many
of our parishioners as possible to participate in this breakfast, for a happy and
enjoyable time together, as one big family.
Bible
School
Instructions in our
Catholic Faith, is one of the more important elements of any Church Family. We are hoping
and praying that all of our children, little ones through 12th grade, through
the efforts of their parents, will participate in our bible school classes each Sunday
morning, beginning at 10:15am for one hour. Registration
will be after Mass this Saturday & Sunday and also after Mass next Saturday &
Sunday.
The
Catholic University of America
Todays second

Catholic Church in the United States, located in Washington D.C. CUA provides an
academically rigorous education guided by Catholic intellectual tradition to 6,000
students every year. Every dollar we give directly supports financial aid for students
from dioceses across the country, including, ours. Please be generous.
The
Bishops Cup Golf Tournament
Are
you registered? Come
play in the 28th Annual Bishops Cup Golf Tournament at 12:30pm on
Wednesday, September 22nd. Its not too late! We encourage women to come out and play for their
parish too because it is not just a mens sport. Registration forms are in the back
of the church. The net proceeds will help the Foundation and benefit the Kenneth A. and
Mary M. Brown Trust that provides funding for grants. For more information,
call 601-960-8479.
Choose Life
Another school year
begins. How many desks are empty due to the deaths of children when they were unborn
babies? Who can comprehend the talents and gifts lost due to more than 52 million
abortions since 1973?
Why Catholic?
More
detailed information in next weeks bulletin.
