gift to their mothers] we will also honor, all of the mothers with a special
breakfast after Mass this Mothers Day. The children making their First Communion

Sharing Your Blessings
This weekend, Saturday and Sunday, is
when we take up the collection for the Catholic Service Appeal. We are hoping that all of
our people will participate. Many will not be
able to give a large amount in one offering but may be able to pledge a reasonable amount
each month. As your priest, I feel strongly about this offering and a big portion is given
for the protection of life. An envelope for this purpose is in the vestibule. You can also
go online to www.jacksondiocese.org
to learn more about the Catholic Service Appeal or
to make an on line
donation.
The Knights of Columbus
will be meeting today, Sunday May 6th, right after the
Mass.
Please
If you should happen to be moving out
of our parish, please let us know, and if you are new in our
parish we would be so grateful if you would register so we can keep our records straight.
Thank You
May Crowning
We will have May Crowning on May 20th,
the crown to be placed by the 1st Communion children.
*Sacrament
of Reconciliation, Saturdays 5:15pm

Choose
Life
Assisted suicide sends a
message to the terminally ill that caring for them is a waste of time, that their lives
are no longer worth living and that they are better off dead. (Anthony Ozimic, Political secretary
of Englands Society for the protection of Unborn Children, NRL News, 1/09)
Please
Remember... to check thermostats, lights, doors,
and clean up when leaving our buildings. We have received some high utility bills
for the Family Life Center, please turn things off, check thermostats and lights, etc.
