grade. We will begin with Mass at 9:00am followed by a sharing questions and discussion
with Father Ruane. The children will go to the class rooms at approximately at 10:00am
have class for a required period then Pizza at approximately 11:45am then going home at
noon.
Blood Drive
We are coming to beg again for the
gift of life through the very selfless gift of giving blood. Our Blood Drive is June 10th
immediately starting at 10:00am thru 2:00pm. Please sign on the list provided in the
vestibule as you leave church. We have gotten a few names, Thank You, but we sure would
like to get some more.
Daily Mass
Now that
school is out and there is a little more leisure time, there is no better up bringing for
our children then to take them to Mass from time to time and explain its benefits.
Sharing Your Blessings
As a disciple of Christ we are reminded
to count our blessings, acknowledge Gods gifts to us and express thanks to him. We
do this by giving our time, talent and treasure. We sincerely thank St. Peter parishioners
who have made a gift to the annual Catholic Service Appeal. God calls us to share what we
have to help others, and you have responded to many in need. If you have not yet made your
pledge, pledge envelopes are available in the back of the church or you can make a
donation online at: www.jacksondiocese.org.
2. Face your deficiencies and
acknowledge them; but do not let them master you. Let them teach you patience,
sweetness,
insight. --Helen
Keller (1880-1968) American Writer

Choose
Life
A veteran researcher into
post-abortion trauma, David Reardon, writes that some abortionists readily admit feelings
of guilt. I do feel youre an abnormal person if you could really honestly say
that abortion didnt bother you at all, said one abortionist he interviewed.
It goes against all things which are natural. Its a termination of life,
however you look at it. (LifeDate, Lutherans for Life newsletter,
Spring, 1998)
