Quotes
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and
realize they were the big things. (Robert Brault) 2. Every man's work, whether it be, literature or music or
pictures or architecture or anything else, is always a portrait of himself. (Samuel Butler
(1835-1902) English Writer) 3. Learn from the past, set vivid, detailed goals for the
future, and live in the only moment of time of which you have any control: now. (Denis Waitley, Author and Speaker)
Choose
Life
The life of Dr. Bernard Nathanson reminds us that change is always possible, even profound
change. Science prompted him to publicly profess in 1974 that as director of the
largest abortion clinic in the Western world, I had in fact presided over
60,000 deaths. He presented that reality in his film, The Silent Scream
that captured the image of an unborn child shrinking from the surgical instruments of an
abortionist, an image that Nathanson called, the silent
scream of a child threatened imminently with extinction.
Sick
or In The Hospital
Just a friendly reminder because of the
Hospital confidentiality requirement, if anybody you know from our church family please
let us know so we can be sure to visit them.
Rite of Christian Initiation
of Adults
We are
again asking anybody who will be interested in the Catholic Faith or if you know anybody
who is interested please call the Rectory. We will be beginning our next R.C.I.A. class in
late September. They
will find these gatherings very enjoyable and interesting and the decision to embrace the
Catholic Faith is always made by the person participating.
