Way of The Cross…  We will have ‘The Way of the Cross,’ Scripture reading, and a short meditation followed by Holy Communion and a light supper, on the Friday’s through Lent. Services will begin at 6:15pm SHARP.

 

Lent At St. Peter Church… Let us all make a special effort to make Lent a special time in Our Church.

Here are some suggestions:                             4. A good confession by participating              6. A kinder, gentler people

1. Daily Mass when possible.                              in our Penance Service.                                7. Less negative gossip. 

2. Participating in “Why Catholic?”                5. Prayer when possible in the home                8. More kindness , compassion, 

3. Participating in the Mass of Healing.               with the family.                                               and affirmation.

 

R.C.I.A… We expect our members to attend this Tuesday at 6:30pm sharp. TOPIC: EVERYTHING

CATHOLIC.

 

Fish Fry… Our Annual Fish Fry is this Friday at St. Peter, the Knights will start serving at 5:00pm and will continue after ‘The Way of The Cross’ until about 7:30pm or until everyone is served. The Knight’s will have fried and baked fish, if you don’t have a ticket see a Knight! 

NOTE: Since our biggest goal is to have people participate in our Friday Lenten Services, we are hoping that as many of our Knight’s as possible will join us in church at 6:15pm.   

 

NOTE … If you would be willing to bake a cake or help prepare and serve the light lunch for the Lenten Service at the First Presbyterian Church on April 2^nd please call Gerry Morris at 417-1160.

 

Special Meeting… Father Ruane would like to meet with, all of our, young people 6^th to 12^th grade, Sunday, April 1^st (Palm Sunday) at 6:00pm with Special Emphasis on Our Young People in the 12^th grade. He will talk to them about different topics, give them an opportunity to talk to him about whatever, and then we would like to finish with hamburgers and hot dogs. This gathering will only be a success if all of our parents cooperate.    

 

Garden Club… The Garden Club will be meeting in our Family Life Center this Monday, March 26^th, at 2pm thru 6pm. You are extended a cordial invitation if you would like to attend or participate.

Please Remember... to check thermostats, lights, doors, and clean up when leaving our buildings. We have received some high utility bills for the Family Life Center, please turn things off, check thermostats and lights, etc.
