Happy 4th We wish everybody a happy, peaceful and safe 4th of July. We pray especially for those traveling on the highways and by plane for a safe journey visiting friends and family and a safe return home. MR

*NOTE* Mass this Wednesday will be at 9:00am for the 4th of July.

 

Healing Mass Mass this coming Friday July 6th is the First Friday of the Month. We are encouraging as many people as possible to participate in this Mass of Healing, where we pray to God for health of mind, soul and body. This Mass will be at 10:00am Friday morning. Hopefully our Knights of Columbus will furnish a little breakfast so we can have time for fellowship and conversation.

 

    Fort          We are emphasizing the importance of these two very important weeks set aside by the Catholic

Night For     Church June the 21st through July 4th when catholic’s can pray, read and reflect on the importance

 Freedom      of religious freedom.  We urge all of our people to pray for the satisfactory solution of this cause

Gospel to every corner of society. We ask you to bless us in           so that, with every trial withstood and danger overcome-for

Church Support Sincere gratitude to those who support our church generously and faithfully however, our sacrificial offering has been a little off lately and I am asking everybody to do their fair share so that we can meet our responsibilities. Also, again please be careful when using utilities, our air conditioning for the family life center last month was $575.00.     

 

Congratulations   to Jeran Guilambo on graduating from Holmes College, Grenada, MS. The pinning ceremony took place on Friday June 29th at Corey Forum.  

 

Diocese Of Jackson 175th Anniversary in celebration of the diocese’s 175th Anniversary a special t-shirt with the 175th diocesan logo and the diocesan coat of arms has been designed and can be ordered by going to the diocesan web page www.jacksondiocese.org or by calling the Dept of Evangelization at 601-960-8474. The cast is $15.00 each.

Please Remember... to check thermostats, lights, doors, and clean up when leaving our buildings. We have received some high utility bills for the Family Life Center, please turn things off, check thermostats and lights, etc.
