Holy Day Of ObligationThis Tuesday, the Feast of All Saints is a Holy Day of Obligation Masses will be at 8:00am and 6:00pm.

Healing Mass Mass this coming Friday November 4th is the First Friday of the Month. We are encouraging as many people as possible to participate in this Mass of Healing, where we pray to God for health of mind, soul and body. This Mass will be at 10:00am Friday morning. Hopefully our Knights of Columbus will furnish a little breakfast so we can have time for fellowship and conversation.

All Souls Day Wednesday is the Feast of All Souls the day in which we remember with love and respect our dear departed ones. Please make a list of your dear departed ones that you want remembered this month and place them on the Altar beginning on Wednesday.

R. C. I. A. Continues this week same time after the 6:00pm Mass in the AA room behind the Rectory. We had a good beginning and it is still not too late for anybody who may still be interested.

Carmelite Monastery Consider supporting the Carmelite Nuns in Jackson, they have a wide range of Christmas gifts, which would make a suitable gift for children or adults and they would greatly appreciate our help.

Why Catholic? The remarks coming from those participating in “Why Catholic?” have been very positive and favorable. Because of that I encourage you to consider joining a group for the next few sessions, since it is on the very, very important topic of Prayer.

Choose LifeOne of Dr. Seuss’ most charming books, Horton Hears a Who, conveys a powerful pro-life—message from Horton’s repeated proclamation that “A person’s a person no matter how small,” to the ridicule and hardship he endures for defending tiny beings that others can’t see. Scripture tells us we must all become as little children.

The C.Y.O.… has started up once again, they will meet every Wednesday at 5:30pm in the Family Life Center, 6th grade through 12th grade students are welcome.

1.        “When I thought I couldn’t go on, I forced myself to keep going. My success is based on persistence, not luck.”  (Estee Lauder, Entrepreneur)

       2.   “Self-reverence, self-knowledge, self-control. These three alone lead to sovereign power.”  (Lord Alfred Tennyson)
