RIP Your prayers are requested for the happy repose of the soul of Melissa Garrett, who died tragically this past week in a car accident. May she rest in peace and may God Bless, her family and friends.

Carmelite Monastery Consider supporting the Carmelite Nuns in Jackson, they have a wide range of Christmas gifts, which would make a suitable gift for children or adults and they would greatly appreciate our help.

Why Catholic? The remarks coming from those participating in “Why Catholic?” have been very positive and favorable. Because of that I encourage you to consider joining a group for the next few sessions, since it is on the very, very important topic of Prayer.

Choose LifeAs we give thanks for the gift of life, consider the words of Pope John Paul II: “causing death can never be considered a form of medical treatment. Rather, it runs completely counter to the health-care profession, which is meant to be an impassioned and unflinching affirmation of life.”  (Gospel of Life)

*Sacrament of Reconciliation, Saturdays 5:15pm – 5:45pm**and by appointment*

The C.Y.O.… will meet every Wednesday at 5:30pm in the Family Life Center, 6th grade through 12th grade students are welcome.

Quotes…………………………………………………………………………….

1. “When we accept tough jobs as a challenge to our ability and wade into them with joy and enthusiasm, miracles can happen.” (Arland Gilbert)

2. “The person who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.”  (Chinese proverb)

3. “Your time is limited, don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinion drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become.  (Steve Jobs)
