Adoration Of The Blessed
Sacrament… Please
join us if at all possible this Monday May 2nd for Mass at 8:00am and we will
have Adoration immediately after Mass for [one] hour. This will be an opportunity to sit
and visit with Jesus, listen to him, thank him for our blessings and talk to him about our
needs.
Healing Mass… Mass this coming Friday May 6th
is the First Friday of the Month. We are encouraging as many people as possible to
participate in this Mass of Healing, where we pray to God for health of mind, soul and
body. This Mass will be at 10:00am Friday morning. Hopefully our Knights of Columbus will
furnish a little breakfast so we can have time for fellowship and conversation.
Confirmation … The big day
is almost here,
Confirmation is when? : Saturday, May 7th
Time: 11:00am
Place: Immaculate Heart of Mary Church,
Important … It
is important, [I think you will agree], that we be in good time. We shall strive to be
there no later than 10:00am that would be those being Confirmed,
sponsors, parents, family and friends. Fr. Ruane will explain
the role of the sponsors at the Masses this weekend.
CSA … The 2nd offering this
weekend is for the Catholic Sharing Appeal [Pave the Way]. By participating in the CSA
you will continue the great work of,

Strengthening of our Catholic Ministries [Catholic Young Adults in College]

Mother’s
Day & 1st Communion … We,
rejoice with our children who will receive the Lord for the first time in Holy Communion
on Mother’s Day [What a nice gift to their Mother’s] We
will also honor all of the mother’s with a special breakfast after Mass on
Mother’s Day, more details next week.
Special Breakfast … We will have a special breakfast in
honor of our high school graduates and confirmandi on May the
15th after the 9:00am Mass.
God’s Blessings … We pray again that, God will bless our
young people who are to be confirmed this coming weekend and they are… Cassie
Bennett, Nina Christian, Chase Holland, Taylor Holland, Paul Liberto,
Mary Kate Livingston, Jeremy Mumme, Nicholas Mumme, Adam Palazzolo, AJ Salinas, Don Tartt, Gabbie Godwin, Meghan Wagner, and
Reid Walker.
Choose Life … Adult stem cells are showing promise in
growing bones to replace those damaged from birth defects, arthritis, or injury.

Note Change … The Knights of Columbus will meet this
Sunday as they will be cooking May 8th.
Please … we are honoring our high school
graduates on Sunday May 15th at the 9:00am Mass. We
are asking them to process into church with Fr. Ruane and to
sit in the front reserved pew.
