Special Collection…The devastation caused by the recent tornados has been catastrophic particularly in Mississippi and Alabama. The death toll, human suffering and property destruction is staggering, a part of this offering will be used to assist flood victims in our diocese, special offering to be taken up on May 21st and May 22nd thank you for your generosity. 

 

Grenada Chamber of Commerce… The Unity Prayer Breakfast, which is usually hosted by the churches in our community, will take place, this Tuesday, May the 17th at St. Peter’s FLC. Time: 7:00am to 8:00am. I am hoping that we will have a good representation at this Prayer Breakfast. Approximately 10 churches participate in this community wide effort.       

 

High School Graduates… We congratulate our High School Graduates and pray God’s Blessings on them and on their new journey. We ask them to keep the Eucharist and the Lord in their lives and remember God is never outdone in generosity, and they are: Nina Christian, Taylor Holland, Mary Kate Livingston, Nicolas Mumme and Gabby Godwin, if we have forgotten anybody please call us.

 

May Crowning… We will have May Crowning next Sunday May 21st in conjunction with the Sunday Eucharist, since more people will have an opportunity this way to honor our Blessed Mother, the Crown will be placed on our Blessed Mother by our First Holy Communion children. We ask children and adults to please bring flowers to be placed at the Blessed Mother’s statue.  Thank You    

 

Congratulation … We congratulate Charles and Nancy Oswalt on the happy occasion of the baptism of their child at the evening Mass on May 21st.           

 

Special Breakfast … Won’t you please join us for our special breakfast this Sunday morning, May 15th, in honor of our confirmandi and high school graduates. We have a special happy for all of them, only if they are at Mass and the breakfast.
