Happy 4^th … We wish everybody a happy, peaceful and safe 4^th of July. We pray especially for those traveling on the highways and by plane for a safe journey visiting friends and family and a safe return home. MR

 

***NOTE*** Mass this Monday will be at 9:00am for the 4^th of July. ALSO: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be on Wednesday this week because of the 4^th of July Holiday.

Sincere Gratitude… I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our children and parents who participated in our Mini Summer Bible School.  The children and parents were a joy to work with. Thank you all for participating. God Bless You. MR

 

Hospital Visitation… Please call us at the rectory if you or a member of your family is in the hospital in Grenada or elsewhere. Hospitals have a privacy policy that doesn’t make known the people in the hospital. I would like to visit people while in the hospital if at all possible to pray with them and to give them a little encouragement.                                                                                                                

 

IF* Please if you cannot serve at a given Mass as Lector or Eucharist Minister, please call a replacement or call the Rectory. These are special ministries and a replacement should be found, if you cannot serve.

 

Aged & Infirm Priests… I know some of you make an offering from time to time for this cause but we are trying July 10^th as the weekend on which we will take up this offering. We fall way behind on what we need and we are asking everybody to be as generous as possible toward this offering on July the 10^th.

 

Blood Drive… We are very mindful of that great gift of giving blood to safe the lives of others.  We are having a blood drive here at St. Peter’s on July 17. Won’t you Please, Please consider giving the gift of giving blood to help save a life.

 

“Moving In And Out”… Summer time is often a time of transitions for families. We want to say farewell to any people who may be leaving and thank you for your participation in our parish. We also wish to welcome any new individuals or families at St. Peter Parish and we invite you to make yourself known to us and to register with the parish. Parish registration forms are available in the vestibule, or call the Parish Office at 662-226-2490.
