Rite Of Christian Initiation Of Adults… We are again asking anybody who will be interested in the Catholic Faith or if you know anybody who is interested please call the Rectory. We will be beginning our next R.C.I.A. class in late September.

 

Life Line Screening… We have been asked for the use of our Family Life Center on Thursday, September 15th, 2011, for Life Line Screening, as a Public Community Service.  It is sponsored by Grenada Lake Medical Center. They have helped many lives. By doing these screenings people sometimes finds out that they have an ailment that needs attention. Pre-registration is required, so please call 1-800-324-1851 for pre-registration.

 

Bishop’s Cup Golf Tournament… Join us for the 29th annual Bishop’s Cup Golf Tournament on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011 at the Colonial Country Club, Jackson, MS. The Knights of Columbus… will be selling squares this Saturday and Sunday and next weekend for the Ole Miss and Mississippi State football pools, your choice. Squares will be $20.00 each.

“Why Catholic?” will begin the fourth and final topic “Prayer” during the week of October 9th and continues through the week of November 13th. More information will be available this fall.

“Moving In And Out”… Summer time is often a time of transitions for families. We want to say farewell to any people who may be leaving and thank you for your participation in our parish. We also wish to welcome any new individuals or families at St. Peter Parish and we invite you to make yourself known to us and to register with the parish.
