Rite
Of Christian Initiation Of Adults… We are again
asking anybody who will be interested in the Catholic Faith or if you know anybody who is
interested please call the Rectory. We will be beginning our next R.C.I.A. class soon.
Are You Someone Or Do You Know
Someone Who…has expressed
an interest in becoming Catholic? Has a child over the age of seven who has not been
baptized? Was baptized Catholic as a child, but has not celebrated the Sacraments of
Eucharist and Confirmation? Please call me, or the Rectory at 226-2490.
Changes In The Mass… There will
be slight changes in the new translation of ‘I
Confess, Glory to God in the Highest, The Creeds, The Acclamations, and The Eucharistic
Prayers; LORD I AM NOT WORTHY, and a number of other prayers and responses.’ However
one of the most obvious changes will be where the congregation responded ‘and also
with you’ but we will now say ‘and with your spirit’ which is the literal
translation from the Latin. The clergy will face a much bigger adjustment than the
congregation.
Adult
Education…Any and all adults that are
interested, you are asked to join Kathleen Cooper in the CCD rooms after Mass on Sundays.
They will be discussing the Book of Genesis.
