list in the vestibule of the church of those who signed up for the positions listed above. I would like
to meet with all these people Thursday, February 8, after the 6:00 pm mass. Please plan to be with us as this is a very
important meeting. If you are interested in
serving in one of these capacities and your name is not on the list, please contact the
rectory so we can add you.
RCIA
RCIA will
meet immediately after 6:00 pm mass on Tuesday. We
will discuss the sacrament of Reconciliation. Anyone
who may be interested in learning more about this sacrament is welcome to join us.
LECTORS/EUCHARISTIC
MINISTERS
We hope that
those who attended the Lectors/Eucharistic Ministers meeting have received their schedules
and the list for contacting replacements. If
you have not received your schedule, see Carolyn.
BIBLE SCHOOL TEACHERS
We had a
very good meeting with Father Ruane, Frankie Fortier and our Bible School teachers this
past Thursday. It was agreed that Fr. Ruane
will address Bible School at the masses this weekend.
It was also agreed that food and drinks will not be brought into the Education
Building.
WOMENS BIBLE STUDY
A new
womens Bible Study, Experiencing God, will begin on Sunday, February 4th. The Womens Bible Study meets on Sunday from
1:30 to 2:30 in the Education Building. The
books are available at Cornerstone Bookstore. Call
Jeannie Logan at 226-0406 if you have any questions.
COME ONE, COME ALL

Family Life Center Now that we are set up in our new building, we hope that you
will join us for coffee and doughnuts beginning Sunday, February 18th. If you are interested in helping with this, please
see the sign up sheet in the back of church.
MISSISSIPPI CATHOLIC
February is
Mississippi Catholic Press month. We ask you
to please drop your envelope with payment for the Mississippi Catholic paper in the
offertory sometime during this month. The
cost of the paper is $18. The parish will be
billed for this, whether the people pay or not. If
you are not receiving the Mississippi Catholic and would like to, please contact Carolyn
at the rectory.

parish member, Kyle, who was born this past week at Grenada Lake Medical Center. Kyle is the son of Chris and Kathy Taylor.

Catholic
Radio - I am pleased to announce that The
Catholic Channel on Sirius Satellite Radio is on the air! Our first official
broadcast was Mass for the first Sunday of Advent from Saint Patrick's Cathedral, and our
regular programming kicked off the next day, Monday, December 4. We're up
and running, and I hope that anyone with a Sirius radio will tune to Channel 159 to give
