YOUTH LENTEN GATHERING
There will
be a Lenten Gathering for the youth of our parish on Sunday, February 25 at 5:00. We will serve dinner, have worship music, and a
devotional thought. All youth in grades 7
through 12 are invited to attend. Contact
Jeannie Logan or Lisa Thomas for more information.
RCIA
RCIA will
meet immediately after 6:00 pm mass on Tuesday. We
will discuss the Eucharist. Anyone who may be
interested in learning more about this topic is welcome to join us.
WAY OF THE CROSS
We will have
the Way of the Cross, and Benediction of the most holy Blessed Sacrament on Friday at 6:00
pm. Some people have asked for Benediction,
and what better time to have it than during the holy season of Lent.
DAILY MASS
It would be
nice to see a few more people at daily mass during Lent.
We keep inviting, making available, and hoping that you will join us.
LENTEN DEVOTIONS We have provided a nice little daily
meditation for families for the season of Lent. If
you didnt pick one up after mass on Ash Wednesday, there are still some left in the
vestibule.
LENTEN PENANCE SERVICE
Please mark
your calendars dear friends, and plan to join us for our reconciliation/penance/confession
service on Wednesday, March 21st, at 6:00 pm.
I hope to have several priests available for this very important Lenten service.

havent already done so, please drop your envelope with payment for the Mississippi

the rectory.
COFFEE AND DOUGHNUTS - Please join us after mass this Sunday
(and hopefully every Sunday) for coffee and doughnuts in the Family Life Center. This is a wonderful time to visit with your church
family.

on Thursday at noon.

contact the rectory at 226-2490, or send an email to stpeter@cableone.net.
SINCERE GRATITUDE
Thanks to
the Knights of Columbus for catering our Mardi Gras celebration. Thanks also to everyone who
helped by
bringing a dish, and with set-up and clean-up. It
was an enjoyable evening and we hope those that were not present will be able to join us
at our next gathering. Congratulations to
Barbara Merriman on winning the draw down!
