EASTER GREETINGS
I take this
opportunity to wish all of our people a happy and Christ filled Easter and Easter season. May the risen Christ give us the joy and peace
that we can receive only through Him. Let us
continue to remember those less well off than we are, the sick, the hurting, and the
suffering. God’s blessing to all! –

EASTER EGG HUNT – Please join us after mass on Easter Sunday morning for our Easter
egg hunt for the children (little ones through 6th grade). It is always fun to see the little ones get
excited when they find an egg “growing” in the middle of the grass!
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations
to Martha Castle who was reborn in the waters of baptism at the Easter Vigil service and
also embraced the Catholic faith, the
Profession of Faith, Confirmation, and celebrated Holy Communion for the first time.
Congratulations
to Chris and Kathy Taylor on the happy occasion of their infant, Kyle, being born again
Saturday in the holy waters of Baptism. May
God bless this child and family on this happy occasion.
PRIESTS RETREAT
Father Ruane will be participating in the annual diocesan clergy
retreat with Bishop Latino and a majority of the other priests from our diocese. The retreat will be at St. Mary of the Pines in
Chattewa, MS beginning on Monday and ending mid-morning of Friday.
DAILY MASS
Because of the fact that I will be on retreat I will not be
having daily mass this week. I do encourage
everyone to participate in the communion services that will be taking place at the
scheduled daily mass times.
SINCERE GRATITUDE
Thanks to those who helped in any way to make our Seder Supper a
success. A nice, happy time was had by all. We hope many of our people, young and old, learned
a little more about the significance of the Seder Supper.
CATHOLIC CHARITIES WORK
TRIP
The next
Catholic Charities Work Trip has been scheduled for April 26-29.Please consider joining us
in Pass Christian as we help rebuild their community.
Lodging and meals provided, you must be at least 18.
