CYO
If any of our CYO are interested in softball, there will be a CYO
coed softball tournament (just for fun) sponsored by St. Jude’s in Pearl (Fr.
Ruane’s former parish) on June 9th. It
would be nice to participate if we have enough players interested to make a team, and some
adults to work with them. Also, if any adults
could volunteer and help umpire (slow pitch, don’t have to be certified) it would
help greatly with the cost. Contact the
rectory for more details, teams need to register by May 1.
THANKS AGAIN
We are most grateful to all of those who made the Holy season of
Lent what it is supposed to be about by participating in mass and the Way of the Cross. Sincere gratitude also to those who participated
in the ceremonies of holy week in any capacity - Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Mass
Servers, ushers, the choir (which performed beautifully at the Saturday evening Easter
vigil service), those who provided feet to be washed, everyone who helped with the Seder
Supper, those responsible for the church grounds, and those who helped in cleaning,
preparing and decorating the church so beautifully. You
are all greatly appreciated and may God bless each of you!
INTERESTED IN MAKING A RETREAT?
The Jesuit Spirituality

MEN’S MATTER will
be held April 26 – 29. It is a retreat
concentrating on male spirituality is designed for men of all faiths who are seeking a
deeper life rooted in the rich soil of a loving God.
MOTHERHOOD: A Day of Prayer will be on Saturday, May 12. It will be a day of prayer and reflection on the
Art of Nurturing.

CURSILLO WEEKENDS
The Jackson
Diocese Cursillo Weekends are coming soon. The
Men’s Weekend is scheduled for May 3-6, and the Ladies Weekend is scheduled for May
10-13 at the Duncan Gray Center north of Canton. Application
deadlines are April 23 (men), and April 30 (ladies).

CATHOLIC CHARITIES WORK TRIP
The next
Catholic Charities Work Trip has been scheduled for April 26-29.Please consider joining us
in Pass Christian as we help rebuild their community.
Lodging and meals will be provided. You

for signing up is Monday, April 16.
