Special
Offering
A Special Offering will be
taken at the Masses next weekend [1/31/2010] for the victims of the earthquake in
Haiti. All of the offerings taken up by the different dioceses will be forwarded to
Catholic Relief Services who are located in Haiti and are credited with using the very
highest percentage of the money received for the people in need.

Church Support
We have mailed a report
to all of our people who support in an identifiable way. Sincere gratitude to several of
our people who give very generously, and to all who have supported the work of our church

Our group will meet this
Tuesday evening immediately after the 6:00pm Mass [1/26/10]. In addition to those who have
been participating anybody who may be interested is very welcome.
World World Marriage Day will be
celebrated February 14th at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Jackson. If you are

Why
Catholic?
The next session of Why Catholic?
will explore the Eucharist and the other Sacraments of our Church. These should prove to
be very interesting gatherings for our Catholic People. There will be a workshop on this
very subject at St. Francis of Assisi in Greenwood, Jan. 31, 2010 from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
