R Your prayers are requested for the happy repose of the soul of
I Robbie Marascalco whom the
Lord called home this week. May the
P
good Lord give her eternal rest and bless her
family and friends.
SINCERE GRADITUDE Sincere gratitude to our parish family members, many of whom
support the Church generously. There is an old saying that, Many hands make light
work. So if everybody does their fair share no body will be over loaded. Again, Thank You, FR. Ruane
MARDI GRAS The Knights of Columbus
will be preparing their favorite dish red beans and rice on fat Tuesday the night before
Ash Wednesday. This will take place approximately at 6:30pm to 7:00pm Tuesday, right after
the 6:00pm Mass.
Please Note: Parishioners are
encouraged to bring salads and if the children dont like red beans and rice, hot
dogs will be provided.
R.C.I.A. The RCIA class will meet this Tuesday
immediately after the 6:00pm Mass.
Topic: The Holy Eucharist; A very important class for those
who have recently joined the Church or anybody for that matter that might want to attend.
CHOOSE LIFE - Writing in the worlds most
prestigious bioethics journal, Hastings
Center Report (2007), Brown University professor Jacob M. Appel argues
that assisted suicide should not only be available to the terminally ill, but also to
people with a purely psychological disease if the suicide person
rationally might prefer dignified death over future suffering. As with
abortion, euthanasia advocates started small and are now gradually expanding the
right they advocate. (NRL
