Annual Reunion
FR. Ruane will be
attending an annual reunion (traditionally known as the reunion of priests who were
ordained at St. Patrick seminary in Ireland) with his brother priests. It is an
opportunity to stay in touch with friends, to relax together, play a little golf and offer
Mass for the happy repose of the deceased members. The reunion runs from Monday January 4th
through Thursday January 7th. Please
call the Church office (226-2490) or Karla (417-2333) if you need something during this
time.
Sincere Gratitude
I would like to thank our
church family members who remembered me in a special way at Christmas. I cherish your goodness and kindness and pray, God
will Bless all of us in 2010. Fr.
Ruane

Faith
Enrichment
There will be a Faith
Enrichment workshop for all who participated in the last session of Why Catholic? and any other interested
person. The convenient workshop for us here in Grenada will be at St. Francis of Assisi in
Greenwood, Jan. 31, 2010 from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.

We sincerely ask those who are
assigned as Lectors or Eucharist Ministers if you cannot fulfill your assignment please
call a substitute so the Masses will run more smoothly.
Choose Life
A new year brings
thoughts of new life. What better place to start than at the beginning--with the human
embryo? Embryonic human beings, no less than human beings at other developmental
stages, should be treated as subjects of moral respect and human rights, not as objects
that may be damaged or destroyed for the benefit of others. (Presidential Council on
Bioethics, 2002)
Liturgical
Appointments
Please
contact the church office to participate in the Liturgy.
