POSSIBILLITIES Faith
makes all things possible; it does not make them easy. (anonymous)
BIBLE SCHOOL We feel we got off
to a very good start these past Sundays, Thanks to Donna Mumme and all of the teachers who
made this possible. Thanks to parents and children for your cooperation. Let us work
together to continue to improve.
PLEASE NOTE - That we will have a class for 3
and 4 year olds in our Sunday morning Bible School Classes, all our children
of that age are strongly encouraged to attend.
PROTECTION OF OUR CHILDREN TRAINING
SESSION As
part of the U.S. Bishops Charter for the protection of Children and Young People, all
employees and ALL volunteers who work with children and youth in parish activities are
required to complete the Protection of Children program this year, and every two years
after. This includes nursery workers, R.E. teachers and substitutes, Scout leaders and
Scout volunteers, C.Y.O. leaders, Junior High Youth Group volunteers, and all other adults
who work with children on a regular basis through parish programs. ANYONE WHO DOES NOT
ATTEND A P.O.C. TRAINING SESSION WILL NOT BE
ABLE TO SERVE IN THESE MINISTRIES.
The training session has been
scheduled for this Sunday at 5:00pm.
CHOOSE LIFE On
this Respect Life Sunday, the prophet Habakkuk speaks directly to those involved in the
struggle to promote respect for human life: destruction and violence are before me,
there is strife, and clamorous discord, the Lord replies, write down the
vision clearly upon the tablets
for the vision still has its time, presses on to
fulfillment, and will not disappoint
(Habakkuk, 1: 2-3)
