POSSIBILLITIES Faith
makes all things possible; it does not make them easy. (anonymous)
BIBLE SCHOOL We feel we got off to a
very good start these past Sundays, Thanks to Donna Mumme and all of the teachers who made
this possible. Thanks to parents and children for your cooperation. Let us work together
to continue to improve.
PLEASE NOTE - That we will have a class for 3
and 4 year olds in our Sunday morning Bible School Classes, all our children
of that age are strongly encouraged to attend.
CHOOSE LIFE In
the Supreme Courts recent decision upholding a ban on partial birth abortion,
Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote for the majority: While we find no reliable data to
measure the phenomenon, it seems unexceptionable to conclude that some women come to
regret their choice to abort the infant life they once created and sustained. Severe
depression and loss of esteem can follow. Given those stakes, the state has an
interest in ensuring so grave a choice is well informed.
USHERS AND LECTORS We thank our parishioners who serve as
faithfully at ushers and lectors at Mass. We are always in need of additional ushers and
lectors and if anyone is interested please call the rectory or let Father Ruane know.
LITURGICAL APPOINTMENTS - Please contact the
church office to participate in the Liturgy.
