JR.C.Y.O: The 6^th 7^th and 8^th grade students met this past Wed. night and were very excited about starting a  Jr. CYO Group. They will meet every Wednesday night at 6:30pm in the Family Life Center. Those interested should bring $3.00 ea. to cover cost for pizza. The Jr. CYO Officers are as follows: Jamie Fortier, President; Don Tartt, Vice President; Mitchell Sones, Secretary/Treasure/Chaplain; Daulton Byars, Communications Chairman. The Jr. CYO will work to combine fellowship, service and fun to bring our Middle students together as a group. We hope all our Middle School Students will come and join us. 

 

BORN AGAIN We congratulate Buddy and Miriam Honeycutt who’s infant grandchild, Micha Brayden Deen, will be reborn in the waters of Baptism on Sunday November 2^nd, 2:00pm at St. Peter Church.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS Next Sunday, 11/2/08, our Church Family will have a Memorial Service of Rosary and Benediction in honor of our dear departed ones. Following the Rosary and Benediction in the Church we will have a cover dish (potluck) in the Family Life Center. Please make note!

THE SEVENTH HISPANIC ENCUENTRO There will be a gathering of the Hispanic community (and those who speak Spanish) from around the diocese on Saturday, November 8^th, 8:30-5:30 at the Leflore County Civic Center, Greenwood MS. Our theme is “Together on a Journey of Hope.” We ask the non-Hispanic community to share this day with us through your prayers and fasting that God may bless the Hispanic community, as well as, our entire Catholic diocese that we all may be one.
