Healing MassMass this coming Friday December 4th is the First Friday of the Month. We are encouraging as many people as possible to participate in this Mass of Healing, where we pray to God for health of mind, soul and body. This Mass will be at 10:00am Friday morning. Hopefully our Knights of Columbus will furnish a little breakfast so we can have time for fellowship and conversation.

Angel TreeWe are looking for names for our Angel Tree. Should you know of any child in need please call the Rectory at 226-2490 or Irene Stark at 417-0968 to give the information needed. Please call before November 29, 2009.

Say HI We would like to be known as a very friendly and welcoming Church Family. Ushers, Ministers of Welcome and Church Family in general, please welcome anybody you feel that is new. Stretch out a hand, wear a smile, and be friendly. Isn’t that what any good family is supposed to be.

Thanks As you know this Thursday is Thanksgiving Day despite the fact that we hear much about the recession we still

Givinghave much to be grateful for. Please join us for a Mass of Thanksgiving on Thursday morning at 9:00am. We are beginning our food drive for the Food Pantry and we are asking our Church Family to bring a non-perishable food item or items……………….  P.S. All of our food items will be left in the Education Building (orange room) until they are taken to the Food Pantry. If at all possible please DON’T LEAVE FOOD ITEMS at the back of the church. Thank You.

As PromisedWe invite all our children, little ones, through grade six and their parents to a Special Mass on Tuesday December 15th. The children will be participating in the reading and singing. We will have a special treat and time together. The desired treat seems to be pizza. We look forward to having a good time with this part of our church family.

Choose Life If you paid attention to the media, you would think that those who oppose embryonic stem cell research and a host of other laboratory-created life techniques are “anti-science.” But this is not a science debate. It’s a debate about ethics, morality and what is right and wrong.  (Wesley Smith, NRL News, June, 2008)
