WHY CATHOLIC Last week I enclosed a letter in our
Sunday bulletin from our Bishop Latino on,
Why Catholic, a journey through the teachings of
our Catholic Faith.
It
especially
Fosters the goals of Our
Hearts Were Burning Within Us.
Encourages
adult learning in a prayerful small community setting.
Provides
leadership workshops with strong catechetical content.
Offers
a vehicle for whole parish catechesis.
P.S. We will keep you updated as we prepare,
as to when and how this program will be implemented in our parish. I feel that this is a wonderful opportunity for
evangelization for our parish and I give it my whole hearted support.
MASS SERVERS We are hoping to meet with our Mass
Servers new and those who have been Serving next Sunday November 11th
immediately after Bible School. We thought this will be easier since the children are
already here and I will do my best to notify the children about this upcoming meeting
during bible school this morning
.David Upchurch and Michael Liberto have
agreed to work with these children. I am asking the parents for their kind cooperation.
WORLD MARRIAGE DAY
If any of our couples
have been married for 25, 50, or 60 years, you might want to fill in the register form (in
the back of the Church) and you will be invited to a special anniversary Mass offered by
the Bishop and you will receive a personal invitation.
Words Of
Wisdom I love
the person that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow
brave by reflection. (Thomas
Paine (1737-1809) British-American Writer)

opposite, through our vote. (Archbishop
Charles J. Chaput and Bishop Jose Gomez, October Respect Life Statement, 2002)
LITURGICAL MINISTERS During these holiday months people
