EncouragingIt was a very rewarding experience to have so many of our people take part in our Penance Service on Wednesday evening, in preparation for the Birthday of our Savior before Christmas.

SINCERE THANKS I would like to thank sincerely all of those who gave non-perishable food items to help stock the Food Pantry. God Bless your goodness and generosity.   

 

PARISH   This is usually one of the most exciting events for our Church Family. We again want to share food,
CHRISTMAS   fun, and fellowship and we are again hoping that the Catholic Santa Clause will make an
SUPPER   appearance. Even though we have somewhat of a recession, we are hoping that he will find some 
candy for our children.                  Date: Sunday, December 13th

R.C.I.A. We are taking a break until after Christmas to give everybody a chance to get ready for the

                  Birthday of Christ. Watch bulletin announcement for next meeting.

 

WORLD            World Marriage Day will be celebrated February 14th at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Jackson.

MARRIAGE       If you are celebrating 25, 50, 60, or 65 years of marriage in 2009 please call us at the rectory

DAY                        at  226-2490, we would love for you to celebrate this happy event with other couples from

                                  around the diocese.

 

C Y O As announced earlier, our C.Y.O. helped by their parents and friends will have a bake sale in conjunction with our Christmas Supper, to be continued on the weekend of December 20th if there are still cakes available.

 

Ifyou would like to make a donation toward the cost of Poinsettias for Christmas please find an envelope in the vestibule as you enter the Church. Thank you. 

 

New ComersWe would very much like to welcome our new families and to recognize them if at all possible at our annul Christmas Supper on December 13th.                      

                            

Angel Tree.  We would like to thank you for opening your hearts and answering the needs and wishes of the children in our parish and neighborhood. They will certainly be overjoyed when they see the gifts under the tree on Christmas Day.  May the Lord bless you in abundance, for your heartfelt generosity.

As PromisedWe invite all our children, little ones, through grade six and their parents to a Special Mass on this Tuesday December 15th. The children will be participating in the reading and singing. We will have a special treat and time together. The desired treat seems to be pizza. We look forward to having a good time with this part of our church family.
