Sincere Gratitude… I would like to sincerely thank
anybody and everybody who
had anything to do with our Christmas Parish Family Supper. Sincere thanks to Kathleen
Cooper, Irene Stark and Karla Houston, who decorated our Family Life Center, and to the
Knights of Columbus for preparing the food for the terrific turn out of our people. A
special thank you to Lee Munstenteiger and Jim Hertel for erecting our Christmas Nativity
scene which does remind us of the little shack where Jesus was born.

Service and our Christmas Parish Family Supper.

WORLD
World Marriage Day will be
celebrated February 14th at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Jackson.

If you are celebrating 25, 50, 60, or 65 years of marriage in 2009 please call us

celebrate this happy event with other couples from
around the diocese.
Faith Enrichment…There will be a Faith Enrichment
workshop for all who participated in the last session of
“Why Catholic?” and any other interested person. The convenient workshop
for us here in Grenada will be at St. Francis of Assisi in Greenwood, Jan. 31, 2010 from
3:30pm to 6:30pm.
Please… We sincerely ask those who are
assigned as Lectors or Eucharist Ministers if you cannot fulfill your assignment please
call a substitute so the Masses will run more smoothly.
Choose Life… “The Word became flesh and
dwelled among us,” St. John’s gospel states. Perhaps if we could look at each
unborn child as a word from God, we would be less likely to destroy those children who
each have a unique message to share with the world.
