WAY OF THE Cross -
Wont you please make a genuine effort to relive again the journey Christ followed on
the road to Calvary each Friday evening at 6:15pm
and also to receive the Lord in Holy Communion.
THE SPECIAL COLLECTION
FOR RETIRED PRIESTS is scheduled
for next weekend, March 28th and 29th. The assessment for our parish
this year is $2,000.00, which goes into the Retirement Fund. We encourage parishioners to
be generous to this collection, which helps support our retired priests. Many of our
priests have labored in our Diocese for 50+ years and are now retired and depend on this
offering. Our parish is assessed for $2,000.00. Please try to be generous. This offering
will be taken up the weekend of March 29.
NO CONFUSION - It
seems many of our people are anxious to get some Seafood Gumbo. To clarify the situation
and to avoid any confusion the Gumbo will be prepared by Chef Mumme, and will be served on
March 27th after our Lenten Services.
