the road to Calvary each Friday evening at 6:15pm and also to receive the Lord in Holy Communion.

HOLY SEASON OF LENT - All the Fridays of the Holy Season of Lent are days of Abstinence.

THE SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR RETIRED PRIESTS is scheduled for next weekend, 3/28/09 and 3/29/09. We encourage parishioners to be generous to this collection, which helps support our retired priests. Many of our priests have labored in our Diocese for 50+ years and are now retired and depend on this offering. Our parish is assessed for $2,000.00. Please try to be generous. This offering will be taken up next weekend.

CATFISH SUPPER The Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a Catfish Supper Friday April 3rd. We hope that our people will come to Church first, including the Knights, if possible, and then we can all get together and have camaraderie and fellowship at the Family Life Center.

WHY CATHOLIC?”… We are encouraging our people to make every effort to participate in the “Why Catholic?” Retreat this Sunday, March 22, 2009.                        Place: Immaculate Heart of Mary in Greenwood.

                                                                                       Time: 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
