RETIREMENT SUPPER – The bishop will have a
retirement supper for two of our priest, Fr. Patrick Nooan and Fr. Henry Shelton on
Tuesday evening at St. Peter’s in Jackson (for priest only) and I feel that I should
be present to honor these men. Fr. Ruane
WHY CATHOLIC MEETING – There will be a training workshop at Saint Francis in Greenwood,
anybody interested are not only invited but are encouraged to attend. The date is Sunday
April 6th at 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
EASTER SEASON – Remember we celebrate the Easter season for fifty (50) days up to
Pentecost, won’t you make every effort to enjoy the Easter Season by the sharing in
the daily Eucharist when possible.
CONGRADULATIONS – Again we
congratulate and God’s Blessings to Sidney Hood, Christy Strong, John Portis and
Cynthia Logan reborn in the waters of baptism on Holy Saturday night and also received
into full union of our Catholic Faith through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and
the Holy Eucharist.
ALSO – Again we
congratulate John and Fresha Jane Portis on the very happy occasion that Regena Jane
Portis was baptized along with her dad on the same night.
SPECIAL THANKS - To all who helped make our Church beautiful this Easter season
by donating for the flowers that adorned his altar. Thank
You!
