         THE CROSS …Won’t you please make a genuine effort to relive again the journey Christ followed on 

                   the road to Calvary each Friday evening at 6:15pm and also to receive the Lord in Holy Communion.

 

WELCOME &     We welcome and acknowledge some special people who are with us this morning. They

GOD BLESS          have been faithfully participating in the R.C.I.A. for several months and plan to be received into our church family on holy Saturday night. We welcome and ask God to bless Linda Gravlee, Valerie Holmes, Roseann Flem, Jennifer Liberto and Desiree Cook. I ask our church family to remember these people in a special way in your daily prayers.     

 

LENTEN FRIDAY   Each Friday during the Holy Season of Lent, [with the exception of, the 1st Friday of 

 AT ST. PETER        each month,] we will have Mass at 8:00am, Stations of the Cross, scripture reading,

                                        a short meditation followed by Holy Communion beginning at 6:15pm.

 

PLEASElet us all make a genuine effort to make Lent a special time in Our Church.

  1. Daily Mass when possible.                                      5. Prayer when possible in the home with the family.                              
  2. Participating in “Why Catholic?”                            6. A kinder, gentler people.
  3. Participating in the Mass of Healing.                    7. Less negative gossip.             
  4. A good confession by participating kindness, compassion, and affirmation.

HOLY SEASON OF LENT - All the Fridays of the Holy Season of Lent are days of Abstinence.

THE R.C.I.A. will meet this Thursday night March 12th at 6:30pm,

                  The Topic will be: The Sacrament of Conformation and Matrimony.

NOTE CHANGE…The R.C.I.A. will meet on Thursday instead of Tuesday because Fr. Ruane will be joining the priest of the Diocese at St. Dominic in Jackson for a workshop Tuesday Afternoon March 10th and Wed. morning March 11th.
