DATES TO REMEMBER           May 11th      First Communion & Reception

                                                      June 22nd      Summer Bible school

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION – We congratulate and ask God to Bless our little ones who are making their First Holy Communion this Mothers Day, they are: Cameron Logan, William Logan, Sydney Matrisciano, Caroline Mumme, Samuel Stewart, Chaz Trost, Carl Turallo, Noah Merriman, Jayden Corbin, Samantha Cook, Kaitlyn Cook, Albert Salinas, December Logan, Robert Logan IV. We ask God to also bless their family and friends on this special occasion.

PARISH –         We are most grateful to Vince and Anne Saia who have generously offered to sponsor a

FAMILY -         breakfast or brunch on Sunday May the 25th immediately after the 9:00am Mass. This

BREAKFAST - should be a perfect opportunity for our Church Family to get together in the Family Life Center, have breakfast, coffee, chit-chat and get to know one another a little better. Vince and Anne have asked me to get a head count so they will have some idea how many to prepare for.

SINCERE GRADATUDE – To those who responded to the Bishop’s Catholic Service Appeal, God Bless you for your goodness.

MAY CROWNING – It is not my style to be negative but if being honest involves being negative I must say, I was very disappointed by the response of our people to honor our Blessed Mother in our Special Services last Sunday evening.

AGAIN - I am asking you again to please turn off heat and cool air when leaving our family life center.

“Willful waste makes woeful want”

VOCATIONS – “May the intercession of Mary, Mother of the Church and Mediatrix, create in the hearts and minds of young men and women in our diocese an openness to serve Christ and his Church as priests, and women and men religious.”

CHOOSE LIFE – The Mother of Tim Tebow, the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner, was advised to abort the unborn Tim because of a drug she needed to survive. She said “no” to death and “yes” to life, despite the anxiety and uncertainty involved. Had she exercised her “right to choose,” Tim would have been just another abortion statistic instead of a young man whose talent has brought joy to many.  (LifeSite
