MAY CROWNING… May is traditionally a month set aside for special devotion to

our Blessed Mother. We will have a special service at the end of Sunday Mass, this Sunday,

May the 17th. That service will consist of bringing flowers in procession at the end of Mass in

honor of our Blessed Mother. A procession with the crown by our First Communion children,

to be placed on the Blessed Mother by the child’s name drawn from the basket. The Rosary is

traditionally a family prayer made famous by Fr. Peyton who coined the phrase THE FAMILY

THAT PRAYS TOGETHER STAYS TOGETHER. It would be wonderful if some of our people could pray the Rosary at home.

 

SINCERE GRATITUDE…We thank our young people, sponsors and parents for their cooperation in participating in our Confirmation Retreat. A special thank you to those who prepared and served the food. 

 

CONGRATULATIONS… We congratulate, Angela Brook Brunson and Benjamin Craig Burnham who

   AND BEST WISHES      will be united in the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony here at St. Peter, June the 16th at 4:00pm. Angela is the daughter of Bill and Angela Brunson.
