A Special
Breakfast
We
would like to show our love and appreciation for our young people who have just received the Sacrament of Confirmation
by having a breakfast after the 9:00am Mass, June the 21st. It would also be an
opportunity to show our love and respect for our many wonderful fathers who often get lost
in the shuffle. We wound like to make this a happy occasion and we are hoping as many of
our church family as possible will participate in this happy event.
Moving
In And Out
Summer time is often a time of
transition for families. We want to say farewell to any people who may be leaving and
thank you for your participation in our parish. We also wish to welcome any new
individuals or families at St. Peter and we invite you to make yourselves known to us and
to register with our parish. Parish registration forms are available in the vestibule, or
call the Rectory
at
662-226-2490.

The Eucharist is our most precious gift
when we come to Mass in about a half hour we hear the word of God in Holy Scripture. The
Lord shares with us His Body and Blood as the food of our souls---isnt it a shame
that more of our people dont avail of this great gift!

Choose Life
For many years I have been an
outspoken advocate for the unborn child, because in a culture of abortion, the child is
like a slave. The new civil rights movement of our time is the pro-life movement. Dr. Alveda King, niece of Martin
Luther King (Priests for Life Newsletter, July-August, 2006)
