THE RENEW PROGRAM Why Catholic? is coming to our diocese and parish soon. Why Catholic? A Journey Through the Catechism is a great way to take a new look at what we believe and why we believe it. It is a simple process, short meetings, and limited commitment. Come join a small group and discover your faith more deeply. Why Catholic? will begin its first small group sessions in the fall. More information will be available in the upcoming weeks.

WORDS OF WISDOM There is nothing to it. You only have to hit the right notes at the right time, and the organ plays itself ..Definition of a lie: An abomination to the Lord, but a very present help in time of trouble.
By night an atheist half believes in God ..Christians are those who feel repentance on a Sunday for what they did on Saturday and will continue to do on Monday ..Three people may be able to keep a secret, if two of them are dead.
CHOOSE LIFE The Dutch have decided that killing is an acceptable answer to human suffering. While it started with just a few, that is the people who supposedly were at the end of life, it very quickly became the many, i.e. people with disabilities or those who wanted to die. Wesley J. Smith, The Southern Cross, 5/12/05
