SINCERE
GRATITUDE I would like to thank Donna
Mumme and Tara Trost and anybody else who helped with our wonderful one day Summer School
Bible School. I feel that this was a very worth while experience for our some 25 plus
children who participated. The enthusiasm of the children at the 9:00 Mass Wednesday
morning was most encouraging for me. Father Ruane
FLOWERS
The beautiful flowers in our Church this
weekend are in memory of Lenora Marascalco. The flowers were provided by her daughter
Denise Hinkle.
CONGRATULATIONS
We congratulate and pray Gods Blessings on Joe Liberto and Jennifer White who will be
married at St. Peter Catholic Church this July 19th.
FAREWELL
Nikki Palazzolo and her family will be
leaving our community for a new home in Minnesota
Nikki has directed our choir and Sam
her husband takes care of our grounds. As a token of appreciation we will have a Church
Family Farewell Breakfast on Sunday July 6th. Please plan to participate.
THE
RENEW PROGRAM Why Catholic?
is coming to our diocese and parish soon. Why
Catholic? A Journey Through the Catechism is a great way to take a new look at what
we believe and why we believe it. It is a
simple process, short meetings, and limited commitment. Come
join a small group and discover your faith more deeply. Why
Catholic? will begin its first small group sessions in the fall. More information will be available in the upcoming
weeks.
WELCOME,
NEWCOMERS! We welcome newcomers to our parish
and we encourage those who are new in the parish to register as parishioners. Newcomers with children are encouraged to register
their children in the Parish School of Religion in August.
New parishioner registration forms can be found on the bulletin board in the
vestibule or may be picked up at the Parish Rectory.
WORTH WHILE QUOTES
1.
Yesterday is history, and tomorrow is a mystery. But today is a gift: thats why we
call it the present. J.
Walker

Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind. Albert
Einstein (1879-1955)

When I was young, I found out that the big toe always ends up making a hole in a sock. So
I stopped wearing socks. Albert

CHOOSE LIFE The Dutch euthanasia
movement, not content with euthanasia for people who want to die, has moved on to creating
guidelines for people who cant decide to die so they can be empowered to receive
this good. The point is that killing that starts out as a right, soon
becomes thought of as a good that all should share in. Wesley
Smith, The Southern Cross, 5/12/05
R The R.I.C.A. is the usual
way by which people come into full communion
C
with the Catholic Church. If you
or anybody you know is interested in
