Sincere Gratitude…I would like to offer sincere
gratitude to all of those who helped in any way in providing food for family relatives and
friends after Mary Dyre’s funeral. I was very proud of our ladies, and many expressed
their appreciation for such a fine and plentiful luncheon.

Happy 4th … We wish everybody a happy, peaceful
and safe 4th of July. We pray especially for those traveling on the highways
and by plane for a safe journey visiting friends and family and a safe return home.
Hospital Visitation… Please call us at the rectory if you
or
a member of
your family is in the hospital in Grenada or
elsewhere.
Hospitals have a privacy policy that doesn’t make
known the
people in the hospital. I would like to visit people
while in the
hospital if at all possible to pray with them and to
give them a
little encouragement.
Year Of The Priests… Benedict the XVI has declared June
19th
2009 – June 19th 2010 as the year for priests, as we are all
aware of the
fact that there is a growing scarcity of priests.
Parishioners
are encouraged to pray for priests and vocations
during the
coming year both at home and at church.
Rite Of Christian Initiation Of Adults…The R.C.I.A.
will resume
in the fall. If you know of anyone interested in the
R.C.I.A., or
