A Special Thank You
to Father Mario, who filled in for Fr. Camp this weekend, for
giving us a beautiful Mass for The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and staying with
us through the weekend to say our Masses. Fr.
Al Camp was in Cleveland Ohio this weekend attending a funeral and will be with us next
weekend.
FATHER CAMP As you know it is getting more difficult to get a priest
supply. So I am most grateful that Fr. Camp is willing to take care of us during these
next few weeks. MR
IF
For any reason you may need a priest for an emergency while I am
on vacation please call Fr. Al Camp at 601-951-3063 or call Fr. Sam Messina at

remembrance in your prayers while he is away and promises to remember you in his daily

Why Catholic?...This fall, all parishioners will be participating in a program
designed to strengthen our relationship with Jesus Christ as well as give us a deeper
understanding of our Catholic faith. Why Catholic? promises to be wonderful opportunity
for our Church Family to develop a stronger relationship with God, a greater love for
their faith, and a greater love for one another.
COMMUNION SERVICE Since we will not have a priest for daily Mass while Fr. Ruane
is on vacation we will have a communion service
each day at 8:00am.
TEACHERS MEETING Father would like to meet with all
our teachers on Wed. Sept. 17th at 6:00pm.
CHOOSE LIFE Scripture makes clear the challenge
before us in deciding our role in the right to life debate. Jesus says, Amen, I say
to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.
(Matthew 25:46) If we do nothing for the protection of the unborn, surely the least among
us, then we do nothing for Jesus. (Culture
of Life Family Services Newsletter, 11/07)
