If you know of anyone interested in the R.C.I.A., or for more information, please call the Rectory at 662-226-2490 or let Karla know. RCIA is basically a detailed course of instruction on the Catholic Faith, composed of three parts; 1st Period: A time of questions and answers from the people interested. 2nd Period: The teaching and explanation of the main doctrine of the Church Faith. 3rd Period: Spiritual growth normally taking place during the Holy Season of Lent.

Teachers for the 2008-2009 School Year are as follows: K-1st Martha Liberto; 2nd Irene Stark; 3rd Tara Trost; 4-5th Christy Strong; 6-7th Karla Houston; 8-9th Frankie Fortier, we are always in need of teachers aids and would appreciate a few volunteers.

Inspirational Quote: “The teacher asks the pupils to tell the meaning of loving-kindness. A little boy jumped up and said, “Well, if I was hungry and someone gave me a piece of bread that would be kindness. But if they put a little jam on it, that would be loving-kindness.”  Anonymous

Choose Life “Women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy also deserve unplanned joy.” We need to work together to systematically eliminate the root causes that drive so many women to abortion—primarily the lack of financial resources and lack of emotional support.”  (Patricia Heaton, actress, author and pro-life advocate.)

God’s House Keepers for Month of August are Donna Walker & Dion Sones. Thanks Ladies
