DAILY MASS I hate to sound negative
but the attendance at daily Mass has not been good at all. Surely, more of our good people at Saint
Peter might want to avail of this Great privilege of encountering the Lord in the Holy
Eucharist.
FATHER CARROL Fr. Carrol who was the pastor some
years ago, for several years, is rather sick at the moment. It would be nice if some of
you who knew him well might send him a card and assure him of your prayers. His address
is;
2795 Charles Byron
Road, Studio #2, Bartell, TN. 38134 Phone; 901-405-3788.
CHOOSE LIFE When the choice is made to abort
a child based on a medical diagnosis, be it Down Syndrome or any other number of medical
issues, it is more than quietly terminating flesh and tissue. It is ending a God given life. (Brenda Hanson, The
Joy Comes from Doing the Right Thing, NRL News, June, 2007)
POSSIBILLITIES Faith
makes all things possible; it does not make them easy. (anonymous)
