MAY CROWNING
Since
May is the month traditionally set aside to honor our Blessed Mother, we will
have a special service in her honor Sunday, May 7 at 6:00 p.m. The crown will be placed on our Blessed
Mother by one of our First Communion children whose name will be drawn from a
hat.
CONGRATULATIONS
We rejoice with Joey and
Adrienne Merriman, whose children Jeremy, Noah, and RJ were reborn in the
waters
of Baptism on Thursday after the 6:00 mass.

FIRST COMMUNION
Our
children will receive their First Communion on Mother’s Day, May 14th, which
I feel is a very special gift to mothers; that her child or children will
receive the Lord in Holy Communion at mass on Mother’s Day for the first
time. We ask God to bless these children
on this happy occasion as well as their families and friends. Members of our First Communion class are Joey
Badome, John Fortier, Jan Guilambo,
Reese Lara, Jeremy Merriman, Tim Mumme, Kelli Parsons, Kristi Parsons, and Melissa Sones.

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION
High
School Graduation is a big milestone when you consider all the early mornings,
fussing about homework, not wanting to go to school, and maybe getting in
trouble while in school. This is a great
occasion for these seniors and we congratulate them and ask God to bless
them. It would be nice if they were able
to secure their cap and gown and sit together at mass on Sunday, May 21. Among other gifts, Father Ruane plans to have
his own “happy” for them on this occasion.
A reception honoring them will follow mass. Our seniors this year are Brandon Clack, Destinee Dorris, Ryan Upchurch,
Jeremy Bennett, Justin Bennett and Meg Logan.

We are asked to help light the way for Catholic Charities, seminarians,
