HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION

We celebrate the milestone of graduation with our high school seniors.  This is a great occasion for them and we congratulate them and ask God to bless them.    A reception honoring them will follow mass.  Our seniors this year are Brandon Clack, Destinee Dorris, Ryan Upchurch, Jeremy Bennett, Justin Bennett and Meg Logan.

H        Y                  Holy Communion and Confirmation celebrations so beautiful and enjoyable.  We rejoice

A        O                  again with our children in the First Communion class and our young people in the

N        U                  Confirmation class.  Pictures of these wonderful events are posted on the website.

DAILY MASS

We are constantly hoping that people will avail themselves of the great gift we have in daily Eucharist.  In 20 or 25 minutes, the Lord speaks to us in Holy Scripture and invites us to dine with him as we receive His body and blood at His table.  Please join us at daily mass whenever possible.

 

R                     We pray for the happy repose of the soul of Mable Zitzelberger, one of our faithful parishioners,

I                       whom the Lord called home this week.  May she rest in peace.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

Women’s Bible Study – “Seeking Him” is a study on experiencing the joy of personal revival.  The study will     begin Sunday, May 21 from 1:30 – 2:30.  Books may be purchased from Cornerstone Bookstore.

 

LADIES AUXILIARY

The Knight of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary will be having their next meeting at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 24.  New Chapter Officers will be nominated at this meeting.  If you are a widow, wife, mother, sister, or daughter of a member of the Knight of Columbus, the Grenada chapter of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary needs you!  Please see the notice on the bulletin board in the church vestibule, or Rosa Buzzarde, for more information.

 

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

Knights of Columbus 3^rd  Degree meet every 2^nd and 4^th Sunday after coffee and doughnuts.  4^th Degree Knights meet every 3^rd Sunday.

ORDINATION ANNIVERSARY

Monsignor Michael Glynn is celebrating his 60^th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood.  A Mass of Thanksgiving will be celebrated at St. Richard, Jackson, on Monday, June 5, at 6:30 p.m., with a reception following.  All are welcome!  For more information call 601-366-2355.
