VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Our VBS will begin on June 19.  Please pick up a registration form in the back of church and sign your children up for this fun-filled, exciting week!  We are also starting to assemble our supplies.  For those who cannot volunteer their time, but would like to make a contribution, we have put together a list of the items we need.  Please pick up a card in the back of church if you would like to purchase some supplies.

 

REWORK

It is my intention to have many more of our people serve as lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and mass servers.  I plan to do this in the fall when school and the church year begin back.  In the meantime, we need people to sign up for all of these ministries.  The lists are posted on the bulletin board in the back of church.  It is a great privilege to serve in any of these ministries.

 

SCHOOL IS OUT

I encourage parents of school children, when at all possible from time to time, take your children to church faithfully, and occasionally to daily mass.  They need and deserve it.

 

LAPSED CATHOLICS

If you have a good friend, or a relative who may be of the Catholic faith that has fallen away from the church, you might give them a nice, friendly invitation to join you at one of our masses on the weekend.

 

I           As we learned from great theologians, mostly our parents, if you don’t have

F          something good to say about someone, say nothing at all!

 

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

Knights of Columbus 3^rd  Degree meet every 2^nd and 4^th Sunday after coffee and doughnuts.  4^th Degree Knights meet every 3^rd Sunday.

 

If you would like to contribute to the Chris Harris Scholarship Fund, please send memorials to Knight of Columbus, PO Box 1822, Grenada, MS 38901.

 

Please contribute generously to the Priest Education Fund cross in the vestibule

 

LADIES AUXILIARY

 If you are a widow, wife, mother, sister, or daughter of a member of the Knight of Columbus, the Grenada chapter of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary needs you!  Please see the notice on the bulletin board in the church vestibule, or Rosa Buzzarde, for more information.
